I am a carpenter. I did not choose this profession—it chose me.
This is who I am and who I have become. Through my work, I have left a small part of myself in this world,
and I have always wanted it to be my best.

I am blessed to be an artist with a hammer and a life-sized canvas.
There is a deep sense of pride in looking back and knowing that I built something that will outlive me for generations.

The spec house featured here was probably my greatest work. As both the owner and builder, every decision was mine.
I could close my eyes and see the vision in remarkable detail, then open them and begin to build.

I often told people that I built that house one sunset at a time.
There was no blueprint on paper.
Whenever I needed to know what came next, I would close my eyes.

Every board, every beam, and every detail was part of a dream taking shape.
In the end, it became my greatest creation—so far.

The only thing I have ever worked harder at than being a carpenter was being both Mom and Dad as a single father.
My daughter has always been the greatest part of me. I watched her graduate from high school,
earn her degree, and build a life of her own in Tennessee.
I missed my daughter more than I could put into words. After 32 years in business, I made the decision
to relocate to Tennessee and begin a new chapter.

Starting over has not been easy.
Moving meant stepping away from the business I spent a lifetime building and facing the challenges
that come with a new market, new relationships, and a new beginning.
But builders understand something important: every great project starts with an empty lot.

If it is God's will, and if Tennessee gives me the opportunity, I will build again—one sunrise and one sunset at a time.

What I offer is thoughtful design, detailed estimates, decades of experience, and a
commitment to craftsmanship that has defined my career.
In 32 years of business, I have never had a callback.

I still believe what my father taught me all those years ago:
Your work is a reflection of who you are.
This is mine.

"I'm just trying to leave something behind."

One sunset at a time

This custom 36' x 50' design-build garage showcases the creativity, engineering, and craftsmanship that defines our work. Designed and built from the ground up, the project features a three-car garage, a spacious 14' x 50' workshop, a walk-out lower level, and a full second floor with a balcony connected by a bridge to the custom stone walls we constructed. From site preparation to the finishing details, every aspect of the project was carefully planned and executed by our team.

Luxurious rain shower head,
along with two additional shower heads and a handheld fixture, creating a true spa-like experience.
I even suggested installing an extra shower head at a lower height to make bath time easier for Rodeo.

Custom two-car, two-story lakefront garage with a new deck, designed and built to complement the home's waterfront setting.

One of more than 150 custom decks I have built over the years.
